This year, the Community Connection Committee will be collecting gifts on behalf of Toys for Tots. The U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program mission is to, “collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.” To make the season a little more special for the children of our community, we have a collection box in the main hallway from now until December 19th. Please consider purchasing gifts for the program during your Black Friday, Cyber Monday and all around crazy shopping season. As the mission statement suggests, please do not donate used or wrapped toys.
Not sure what to buy? The NIS Christmas tree will, in addition to the beautiful ornamentation put together by Office Services, have several foam ornaments with gift suggestions. Please take some if you’re in need of ideas!
