National Insurance Services (NIS) has insured a small Minnesota city with a variety of ancillary and voluntary benefits since 2024. The city turned to NIS when they neared the end of their two year commitment in the state run Minnesota Public Employees Insurance Program (PEIP) for their health insurance. When Minnesota introduced its new Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML) requirement, the city again relied on NIS to help navigate their choices.
