2018 is here and the Community Connection Committee is ready to kickoff the giving year! For our first quarter, we will be raising funds and food for Hunger Task Force.
February – be a Super Hero for HTF!
We will be selling $5 placards, with all proceeds going directly to Hunger Task Force. Our goal is 300 placards and for every 100 we sell, volunteer members from the management and E-team will show their appreciation by dressing up for as his or her favorite super hero. Below is the breakdown:
A special note: March 1st – March 11th is Hunger Task Force Match Madness Campaign. All the money we raise during this period will be matched by NIS and another corporate sponsor!
March – March into Spring with a Food Drive
Beginning March 1st, we will have a Hunger Task Force box out to collect non-perishable food items. For every 5 items an employee donates, you will receive one raffle to ticket to be entered to win a $25 Visa Gift Card! Things to consider: each month, Hunger Task Force focuses on one section of My Plate and March will be condiments. The healthy condiment of choice is Salsa.
Placard Sales: Sales begin February 1st and will go through February 28th, 2018. Money can be given directly Casey Kobylinski, Craig Brendelson, Dana Herdeman or Amy Knitter. The CCC will display all placards in the lobby on the third floor.
Food Drive: There will be a box set up in the “celebration hallway”. If you have 5 or more items, stop by the desk of Casey Kobylinski, Craig Brendelson, Dana Herdeman or Amy Knitter before dropping them in to receive your raffle ticket. The drawing for the raffle will be March 30th at 2:30 p.m.
