Timeline

October 5th at 10 a.m.: United Way Kickoff Event

Join us in the main conference room at 10 a.m. for our United Way Kickoff Event with speaker Debra Fields from the Sojourner Family Peace Center. As you may recall, Sojourner Family Peace Center was the organization we chose for our first quarter charity. The center is the largest organization in the state that focuses on domestic violence intervention and prevention. This promises to be an engaging event that highlights the true value of United Way dollars.

October 7th – 21st: United Way Raffle is back!

$1 tickets will be sold for a variety of raffle items including but not limited to:

• iPads (8 chances to win!)
• Vacation days (2 chances to win!)
• Gift cards
• Autographed t-shirt
• Ticket passes
• VIP Parking Spot* (6 chances to win!)

October 26th: New Event – Comfort Food Potluck**

Join us in the main conference room 11:30 – 12:30 for our first ever Comfort Food Potluck! For $5 employees may enjoy up to 10 different comfort foods prepared by colleagues. Sure to be a stomach warming event! Tickets will go on sale October 7th.

*VIP Parking Spot: we will select 6 winners, one for each month November – April. These winners will be allowed to park in a VIP spot close to the front doors for easy access in the cold winter months.

**Comfort Food Potluck: We are seeking 10 volunteers to sign up to prepare their go to comfort food dish. Those preparing a dish will get a free ticket to the luncheon. Please see the signup sheet in the hallway outside the break room.
