David Norton, Vice President of Finance and Administration for National Insurance Services (NIS), began his career with NIS in 1990, shortly after attaining his MBA from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. He entered the insurance industry because it provided opportunities to work in a variety of disciplines including financial, actuarial, underwriting, customer service and billing. David says that the single greatest contributing factor to his methodology and approach are the NIS’ core values and culture which he has absorbed since his arrival: providing friendly, technical and responsive service.
Throughout his career with NIS, David has developed a deep understanding of NIS’ various functional areas which help him appreciate the customers’, company’s and insurance carriers’ perspective. This viewpoint allows David to develop appropriate solutions to the short-term and long-term challenges facing our public sector clients.
