What We Did in Q1 and What’s Up in Q2

Thank you all for your support in raising food and funds for Hunger Task Force during Quarter 1. With your help, we were able to raise $834 which turned into $3,336 with the NIS match and the Hunger Task Force Match Madness. In addition, our food drive netted 91 pounds of food!

For Quarter II we will be raising funds for Easton’s Cause, an organization close to Katy Bralick’s heart. In 2010, Katy’s nephew Easton died unexpectedly at only 8 months old. In the months and years that followed, Katy’s brother and immediate family struggled not only with the immense grief, but also the deep financial hardship that accompanies such a loss. To honor Easton’s memory the family created Easton’s Cause, a non-profit that provides financial assistance to families experiencing a major illness or loss. They are always looking for volunteers for their annual softball tournament to be held every summer!

Our Events for Quarter 2 Will Be As Follows:

Cutest Baby Contest and Photo Match Game *new this year*

For the first time, the CCC will be holding a Cutest Baby Contest and Photo Match game! To participate, an employee can submit one baby photo of themself (no kids or grandkids please – what if they didn’t win??). Using the photos, employees will play two games:

1. Cutest Baby Contest – vote on the cutest photo! Vote early and often for $1/vote.
   • Like the pet contest, the photos will be displayed in the “celebration hallway” and via slideshow for remote offices. Instead of names, there will be numbers for each photo. Buy your tickets from Amy Knitter, Dana Herdeman or Casey Kobylinski and simply write the number on the ticket before dropping it in the box.
2. Photo Match – match the photos to your co-worker
   • For $5 employees can purchase a card to fill out, matching the baby photos to the list of names provided. These cards will be submitted to a separate box.
   • The first 100% card selected at the end of the game will be crowned winner

Some things to consider:

• Please only submit one scanned or digital photo of yourself (Photos can be submitted to Amy Knitter).
• The term “baby” is defined loosely here, however the older you are in the photo, the easier it will be to match you
• Other objects in the photo are acceptable, but to make it difficult, please avoid anything that specifies the year it was taken

The details:

• Photos can be submitted to Amy Knitter from Tuesday April 10^th through Wednesday April 18^th.
• Voting and the match game will begin Friday April 27^th and will continue through May 11^th.
• Winners of the Cutest Baby Contest and the match game will each win a $25 gift card.

Vacation Day Raffle

Start off summer right! We will be raffling off one vacation day with raffle tickets going for $5 each that may be purchased from Amy Knitter, Dana Herdeman or Casey Kobylinski. Tickets will be on sale May 11^th through May 25^th. The winner will be drawn at 2:30 p.m. on the 25^th.
